Oh, now I see the pics...first time I clicked was a dead link...

I saw the C5 pics a few years ago. Think someone knew the story behind that said the guy was unloading a boat and drove too far in the lake, but I don't see a boat trailer..maybe the guy wanted to wash his car....

Is that C5 a chop? Looks pretty legit. What the heck was he doing in a boat ramp? You can see its gradually deeper in the 2nd pic from the first. The backup lights are still on. Why wouldn't somebody in that boat at least have thrown a rope to somebody to tie the car to one of the pier pilings to prevent it from going all the way under? Surely the boat has some rope or rigging on it.

Wait, was this one of those guys who actually sticks a hitch on his Vette? Maybe he could have been backing a jetski trailer down the ramp and went a little far.

Does anybody know the story with this, or is it actually a very good hoax pic?

Looks to me like the guy is standing on the rear corner of the car. Both situations would really suck. If it were any of my cars, I would be sick over it.

My only problem with the pic of the guy standing on his car in the pool is that his t-shirt is still dry. You would think his shirt would be wet up to his chest or something

Nope, it's real. Story is that the guy was towing a boat (maybe a jetski?) with his C5, started reversing down the dock to get the boat in the water...I don't remember if maybe he just left it neutral and the handbrake didn't hold up, or if the boat started to slide away and he couldn't recover...

Default Anybody ever get a divorce? Weird stuff happens

in the middle. I read about a guy whose returned to collect his stuff at the appointed time. Opened the garage door to find concrete in his roadster. About a half yard. Ugly mean stuff.

He's too dry and it's funny how there are NO other people around gawking...like it's everyday you see a Corvette at the bottom of a pool.

I am still chuckling over the Aligator Matin Season sign.

But back to the C5... I bet that guy in the water is crying big Aligator tears.
