I discovered have a few bulbs burnt out in the dash (low fuel/ high beam/ign/speedo/ etc) of the 82 I just picked up & I need the bulb types. I can't seem find the info in the factory manual & my handbook is still on order.

I want to replace them all while I am in there (working or not) so if some one could scan the bulb info from their book or just post the types & #'s needed for all the dash bulbs it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting ready to take all the bulbs out in my '76 and put in 12v LEDs with built in limiting resistors. Very bright, never burn out, any color you want. Pretty cheap too. Just get the LEDs, break the bulbs, solder the LEDs into place.

the dash lights in my 81 seem dim, this may be normal but are there brighter bulbs I could install?

I believe they are all #194 bulbs..Gator79, .they are controlled by the dimmer on the headlight switch.

Older Than Dirt

The 194's are 2 candlepower. You could change them out to 168's which are 3 candlepower. They would be a little brighter. I just recently changed mine out to LED's.
