Your mint/green appears to be a touch darker than the rare 1982 Silver Green color.
Looks nice! I'd like to see a front quarter profile picture. I bet it sits good!

Other places have a stated value insurance policy. So you get what you and the insurance company agree.
So do they. Have Hagerty on my 73 with a stated value (not appraised) of $20K for $176/year full coverage - no deductable. They only saw a picture of the car, but it must be garaged (nothing said about heated - maybe because I live on the desert), not be my daily driver and I am limited on miles driven (although they also never asked what the odo has on it).
Last time I saw 27 was nearly 30 years ago though.

$500? mines insured for $30G's and i only pay $350 thru grundy's, had hagerty and was paying $400 for the same deal. check around :cheers

You know....I tend to like all original Vettes....but your's is really SLICK looking....very nice job !

Be sure to check online with AON classic car insurance....they are out of Washington state and have a good policy....cover my 72 coupe for 20K replacement with 300K liability for like 144 bucks per year.

youll never get what you put into these cars, mine appraised at 32,000,,no one in there right mind will pay that much for that car,,,,but that is not why we appraise them,,,to sell them,,,we appraise them so when someone trys to take it away,,,by stealing or hitting it,,we can get as much of our investment back as possible,,,unfortunatly,it never is the amount we have invested,,,but its always better than''blue book value'' by the way i saw a 75 go for 25.000 ,,,guy showed it at vette fest,,,buyer wanted the car, that cars you got is worth more than 10 g !

Grundy will not insure any Corvette newer than '73. I called Hagerty and they had a better deal anyway. Oh.. your car looks kinda like that color they used to put on Ma Bell's trucks... No offense - just not a green lover. I love everything else about it!

Default Grundy for me

GRUNDY World Wide! Been with them now for two years. Started with $75,000, my declared value. Just changed it up to $95,000, only $600 a year for a lot more peace of mind. No appriasals, couple of photos, and no new info for the increase. Just fork over the money evey year. They have a resonable mileage limit, (about 2,400) but they told me if I wanted to travel to shows, Power Tour etc, just tell them about the increase and they would waive it. They've been very agreeable so far. Sure feel a lot better than I did with State Farm. After 25 years, no claims, no tickets, I could only get $10,000 total coverage for even more than I'm paying now for almost $100,000! Got to love these collector car insurance guys. Feel a ton better about what MIGHT happen one day not wiping me out financially.
