prolly not....

i'm not parting with this vette.... so the price is just to cover my butt if anything happens..... i have no plans of selling.........

i have to call hagerty to see what kind of rate i can get......

i'm sure even if i was to sell it, i would prolly only get 10 for it........

i'm just a bit glad that i FINALLY got it appraised and gonna make sure it is totally covered..........

I tried hagerty. I wasnt 27 with a heated garage.....

Other places have a stated value insurance policy. So you get what you and the insurance company agree.

the total covers more than what i put into it money wise

5000 for the car
audio and rims.....3200 about
all the new rebuild kits/tarms etc....prolly 6000
paint....2300

considering i did pratically all the work, i guess that number is fine.... but i'm sure if i get hit or something, the whole car would have to be repainted since it's a custom mix color.......

i might see if i can get the insurance to cover more........

Do you have a garage and another daily driver? If so check with Grundy Worldwide. They don't say anything about a minimum age, or heated garage. They just require another car to be a daily driver, and the car be garaged.

Any body got a mint. I'm hungerin for a mint for some reason.

Make sure you check on the value every year. I point this out to new car people. Rates stay the same but the car value declines. If you don't ask they will charge the same but pay less.

I've been with Grundy for 6 yrs. I have stated value and they have never lowered the agreed to value. In fact, I just raised it a little to cover additional work on the car and they did not even ask for an appraisal. In fact, they have never asked me for an appraisal. My premium started at $117.00/year and is now $132/year after 6 years. They do restrict your vette to a garage and non-daily driver. No one under 25 can drive the car.
