'80 L48 with 130K miles and over $20K spent on it including purchase price. Very reliable since I have nearly replaced everything on it .

The '69 has 74K miles but I intend to drive it as often as the weather permits this Winter and then really step it up as soon as Spring arrives.

I do all of my own wrenching in order to keep them both 'drivers'.

I have a '79 with 128,7xx on it. Drove it to work today and out around for lunch. Saw a '71 or '72 sitting in applebee's parking lot.

Mine ran over the 150,000 mile mark this summer. She hides all winter though.

Default 79 L48

I have a 79 L48 4 speed w/over 90K miles on it. The engine has been worked on a little but never rebuilt or taken out of the car. A cam, aluminum manifold & new carb, headers & true dual 2.5 exhaust. She runs like a bat out of hell. I keep thinking out pulling the motor & putting in a 350/350 crate or a rat 383 but then I drive my big red dog and think why not wait until I have to do the motor.

PS Wish I could post a pic but I don't know how.

My '69 has 271,000 miles on it. It's on the road every day and every mile is a thrill.

128K on mine, and I think there are still a few original parts left in there.

Zwede, what tires and wheels are those on the '71? Very impressive.
