You've got me thinking........I've got an anemic L48 in my Vette, but I also have three 27 litre Rolls Royce Meteor engines in the garage. I bought them off the Australian Army when they were getting rid of their Centurion tanks about 20 years ago. They're virtually the same as the Rolls Royce Merlins, only they aren't supercharged.
