quick displacement question for my moron workmate -
My workpartner believes that a 572ci chev is 7.1 liters - can you guys please verify that it isn't & tell me the actual displacement in liters -

Only guessing but I thought a litre was 61 cubic inches. So 572 divided by 61 equalls 9.37 litres.

A true 572 cubic inch engine is 9.3734... liters. Be careful though, as Chevrolet's "302" is truly 301.6 cubic inches. If you want to find the true displacement you need the formula: Bore x Bore x Stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders.
