One liter (1000 cc) = 61 cubic inches.
572 / 61= 9.377 liters

Only guessing but I thought a litre was 61 cubic inches. So 572 divided by 61 equalls 9.37 litres.

Default Here is a handy tool...

http://www.joshmadison.com/software/convert/

Current version is 4.10

Convert is an easy to use unit conversion program that will convert the most popular units of distance, temperature, volume, time, speed, mass, power, density, pressure, energy and many others, including the ability to create custom conversions!

Woot! Gotta love "Convert." I use it for so many things.

1 liter equals 61.02374409 cubic inches (or 1000 cubic centimeters)
A true 572 cubic inch engine is 9.3734... liters. Be careful though, as Chevrolet's "302" is truly 301.6 cubic inches. If you want to find the true displacement you need the formula: Bore x Bore x Stroke x .7854 x number of cylinders.
