will a 1980 radiator support work in a 69?

can some one confirm this is a 68 radiator support.
the auction says it may be for a 68 but hes not sure. looking on ecklers, it looks like the 69 support for an aluminum radiator. if it is for a 69 alum, what are the odds of my 69 actually haveing an aluminum radiator? was this a pretty normal thing?

My 68 350/327 came with an aluminum radiator. The radiator support frame in the 68 looks similar to the picture but not exact. My 68 radiator frame has a conspicious X brace in the frame open area. This X brace is missing from the picture. (The support frame opening in the pictue is basically a large rectangular opening. On the 68 metal rods maybe 3/8 inch in diameter were welded, in a X shape, across the opening.
Also, look at the circular hole for the headlight harnesses to pass through the frame. One the frame shown, the hole is slotted - meaning you can easily remove the harness. On the 68, this hole is not slotted which makes installation of the headlight harness more complicated.
I know the 69 L88 BB had an aluminum radiator (same as the stock 350/327 radiator). I thought all the other 69 radiators were copper. Don't really know. Send an e-mail to Tom DeWitt?
