Isnt that what DUCT TAPE is for?

Step 1. Remove the center console
Step 2. Decide that while you are at it......
a. Remove the gauges to clean and restore them.
b. Might as well update the radio, amp and speakers while
they are out.
c. Hmmmm...decide that the carpet may be looking a little old. maybe a new carpet kit.
d. Might as well check the heater core...I mean as long as the carpet is out.
e. The new carpet looks good, but the door panels now are faded. Gotta replace those too.
f. Keep replacing parts as needed or required.
All of that is needed just to replace the power window switch.

Le Mans Master
I rode with a buddy in his 14000 mile fuelie 57 the other year at the Carlisle show who was telling me how he had just repaired the gas guage for the drive (yes he DROVE it!) to Carlisle so he wouldn't have to worry about how much gas he had. Well, this was at a gas station for a fill up, and when he got back in after the fill up, of course I had to break the bad news to him that the gauge read dead empty!
