Default 1974 AIM Index - free

I have a VERY hard time finding anything in my AIM book. So I made an index in Excel.
I have put 2 versions on my web site. One version is sorted by ascending page order.
My manual, which I got from Corvette Central has the standard manual numbering system which I have a real hard time with. AND someone had hand numbered each page from 1 to 477 on the master. I use the hand numbered version.
The second version is sorted alphabetically by subject.

You can copy and paste the index into Word or Excel. You can also use the "find (on this page) feature in Internet Explorer. Do what you want with the Indexes. Except sell them. I made them and did not copy from anyone's index. So I did not steal copyright. I don't believe there should be any problem doing this. If you think there may be a problem then you won't want to be using the index. Of course it is for 1974's.
Hope they help some folks.

And follow the AIM Index link.

A nice Christmas present for '74 owners. Now, if someone would just do it for '69s. Never did understand why those darned things weren't indexed--you gotta think it was a PITA to find stuff in 'em on the factory floor back when GM was using them.

Glad it can help you. The AIM was the first reference I got for my car and I could look at it and knew it had great info. It just was a real pain to look for something in it. It didn't really take that much typing to do it. I will be making changes/additions as I find them. If you have any ideas let me know. No promises but might be able to add things. If you make any direct changes to your copy consider sharing with everyone.

JB, get to work typing. By New Years you can have one for the '69. Just a few lines everytime you get ready to log on.

I'm also a 74 owner that has had a difficult time with the AIM. I just saved both versions of your index to disk. Thank you for sharing this info.......very nice of you.

Merry Christmas

Frank, thanks, but nothing I did. The data plate says it came from GM that way. I'm gonna keep it that way.
