Well I won three wiper motors on Ebay and it took a month to get them and when they finally got here found the first one was fire damage junk, the second was a later model with broken terminals and washer ports and when you thought it would get worse the last one was a desent condition 68 Corvette wiper/washer motor complete! Three guesses what year Corvette I own, AL.
The 68 motor is the tuff one to find and it is 68 only with three wires coming from the motor instead on two. I paid $28.00 plus shhipping for them and if it was not for the 68 motor I would have disapointed, AL.
I won [sucessful bidder] an l-88 hood on ebay recently on ebay. I had no more paid for it. when I got three e-mails telling me what junk hoods this guy was building. Anyway to make a long story short I got my money back, because the people sent me pictures of this guy's bad hoods. I confronted him with the evidence against him and he refunded the money. I learned a valuable lesson there.
That is the car in the avatar, you know your concept cars!!! I don't own that one its just I saw one at a car show and thought it may make a conversation piece for a avatar. I own a 68 British Green Corvette coupe and had her over 20 years, AL.
I will not buy from e-bay. But I do sell. Its way to
easy to get away with murder on e-bay
I've had some friends pay right under $1000.00 for
stuff and never recieve it, and nothing could be done about it.
That is incorrect, if your friend paid via Pay-Pal he would not have lost a cent. Its foolish to pay by money order, Western Union, or a non insured money transfer, AL.
Yeah, Ive been ripped of a couple times now with ebay....the parts not as described (and got caught up in stupid bidding wars).......Im learning as I go.
Yeah, Ive been ripped of a couple times now with ebay....the parts not as described (and got caught up in stupid bidding wars).......Im learning as I go.
The key is FEEDBACK!!! As far as who to buy from. The seller with 100% feedback didn't get it by scewing bidders. And ask lots of questions and no resesponse don't bid!!! As far as bidding wars that is a big mistake!!! If you bid on something early and you get out bid just wait till the end and bid at the very end to what you are willing to pay for it not a penny more! Ebay can be a usefull buying tool but there needs to be a good understanding on how it works to YOUR advantage, AL.
PRNDL, Wow!!! Thanks for the post!!! The one I saw i Carisle car show was a V8 model and didn't know there was a in line 6 out there. That should bring a good amount of money. John Delorean was a good designer and its a shame nose candy did him in. Thanks Again!!! AL.

That is a nice looking ride. It looks like it might be a little smaller than the corvette. It will be interesting to see what BJ will get for this car. Stay tuned.
