Hey Folks, it's sat. a.m. and i am waiting for a call to go check out this vette. I can appreciate some of the skepticism. I do not know what we have here, and unfortunately the situation surrounding this “BARN FIND” involves a grieving family who recently lost their father/husband in the last month. This car is real, how real ?, I don’t know, that’s what I will find out.
Thanks George, ramfire82, I know I stuck my neck out starting this thread and I will take the good and the bad comments that go with it. This is kind of hard to believe and having to go through a third party a friend of the family, dose not make this easy. If it is what he says it is
Then it makes this all worthwhile.
Thanks luerja for all the Info. I printed this thread and am taking it with me.
Please be patient everybody, I will let you know.

It is after 2:00 p.m. on saturday and after several phone calls it looks like I won't be able to see this vette today. I am very frustrated and confused after all the discussion over this "FIND". The family dosen't want to do anything with these vehicles at this time and will let my friend know what they decide.

Maybe you can go see another one, plenty on Ebay, owners have been dropping like flies lately, poor next of kin has been selliing the unwanted cars off. It's an epidemic, I am thinking of selling mine as I want to live a little longer
Sorry couldn't resist, the recent rash of postings on ebay puts red flags up for me. One poor guy apparently died on his porch after driving the Vette home from the dealership, only 6 miles on it. I hope didn't get yur hopes up too high
