Ok...here's my Donnybrooke green '70 right after I finished the two-year paint project. Good thing somebody dug up this thread because I couldn't have been in it a year ago!

Here's my '71 LS5 Brands Hatch Green 4 speed Convertible with green interior. Still has the original factory lacquer paint, interior, soft top, etc. I've owned it for 38 years.

Who in their right mind would own a 'Green' Corvette in 2013?

Griff, beautiful Elkhart Green LT-1 you have
Could be the twin of mine.
Thanks for posting the pictures, beautiful background as well.
Tomorrow is the first day of Autumn, my car does like the cooler weather, and the cabin heat isn't so oppressive during the Fall.

Beautiful Elkhart Green LT-1 coupe with A/C Chuck72 .
If you Put mine (see post #14)
and Brooklinite's (see post #60)
and Griff2002 (see post #73)
and Yours together
you would have 4 LT-1 coupes all in Elkhart Green !!
that would be quadruplets

Regards
Roy

When I bought my 73 it had invisible paint. I was colored blinded by my desire to get a 73. Don't know when I finally realized that I bought a green car.

I wasn't too jazzed about the elkhart green color and heard all the jokes. Yes I know if I park it on the lawn I won't be able to find it. Or "Look it's a Heineken beer bottle with a 350."

30 years and this thread has made me feel better about the color. It is due for a paint job soon and I will keep it original. Partly because I am a purist and secondly because like moss, green grows on you!

It would be fun to get them all together. I didn't realize how popular Elkhart Green was in '72.

I used to watch my neighbor start his new Elkhart Green 73 every day while I waited for the school bus. Always liked the color.

Appreciate that, Roy.
Your car has the best paint of all the cars, hands down!
