Has anyone replaced their OEM carpet with ones from Auto Custom Carpet Co.?
I ordered a complete set for my 78 PC and the pile seems a lot lower than the OEM.
My door panels from Willcox which actually are Corvette America products has the same lower pile.
The carpet looks cheap. The cut outs don't come close to the originals and it looks like it will wear down quick. Anybody have any comments on this?

I bought AL Knoch rugs for my 75 and they didn't fit worth --it. I just rip them out and replaced them with ACC. ACC fit with little triming and looked much better.
The carpet clearly does not look like the OEM. It almost looks like the short pile carpet you would put on a patio. Cheap indoor/outdoor carpet not the kind you would think would go in a Corvette. I guess it wouldn't be half bad if it were of a higher pile but it is a lot shorter than OEM. The door panel vinyl is of OEM quality but the carpet on the bottom half is the same as the carpet set, real short cut pile and looks nothing like the original stuff I am removing.
Does anyone know if Al Knoch's carpet is a higher pile? Does anyone have a 1978 or 1979 with Al Knoch's carpet and door panels that they could send me pictures of to see if it worth getting?
Can tell the quality of the carpet by the backing. Al Knoch and higher quality carpets will have a jute backing. I have used ACC carpet and it was a molded set which had a plastic/glue base to which the carpet fibers was attached. Very cheap way to make it and very little quality also IMHO, houstonvett
