Then needed something for the rear wheels, so time to rebuild the rear diff with a tuned posi and some new gears, etc.

After some inspection, magnaflux, etc. Found the block to be cracked in 3 separate cylinders. This is getting spendy now.
Decided after much debate to go with a new GM block and a Scat balanced stroker rotating assembly for a healthy 488 build. Zero'd the deck and put on some Brodix Heads, Straub roller cam, roller lifters, etc, etc. Around 10.5:1 compression should get it down the road ok.

Front of the engine mostly put together with a March pulley system, Dewitts radiator, remote PS reservoir and a borgenson steering box.

It has been a long 2 years so far. Hopefully this next year, I will get some wheels and tires on it and set it back on the ground. Then time to start it up and go to work on the body. Thoughts right now are to have fender flares on it. The back quarter panels need to either be replaced or have flares put on, so seems flares go best with a stick and a stroked 454. Will have to see where this goes. Hope to be driving it in 2019.
