Quick wetsand to get last of overspray off center raised aluminum, I painted these a month ago but waited as to not have water on them, which may have lifted paint.

A little reminder of what I started with..the front console itself was completely destroyed, the whole understructure was shattered, think someone sat on it, it was bashed to pieces

Amazing what a little elbow grease and know-how will do. Your car will be like a classy older woman, a little worn around the edges but she'll carry herself with great dignity! Amazing work!

I am lucky that my dad is into cars and that they have a huge barn at their house....also am glad that I am able to recruit my mom for special projects like the cleaning of this package / glass tray.....I will do some detail paint work to it, such as the latches etc but all else will remain in original condition.

A quick recoat, wanted to cover up the exposed cardboard type material, mixed up a secret batch and voila! it is wet still in this picture and overall looks good, dried to a semi-gloss factory look...and took the curse off.
