Damn it ... I had my hands on that car a few weeks back.
You bought it in Burlington, right ?
I made a low-ball offer and never heard back.
Every corner of the body was crunched.
Did you get the engine with it ?
Please send me a PM or email and tell me how much it cost.
I want to know how far off I was with my offer.
Thanks, Dave

also I hope you score on that other one and please keep me in mind for the rear clip, I really need it.
I leave for vacation this week, on Friday but I can have my dad come see you, and purchase the rear clip...cut it off etc once you get it home and settled...
I am sure we can work something out
The original motor was not with the orange Corvette I bought...but I have a correctly dated coded engine...

$2500-4k? From the pics.. it looks like it needs lot of work. Not trying to insult... just using my car as a base. Mine was road worthly and running before body off... I paid $9500 in 1998. it's a 70 vert...
NH... how much did you offer? AM I FAR OFF? hey this could be a good game here on the forum... Kind of like price is right for Corvettes.
Great year though... Is the frame bad or clean?

it does need work, but the frame is mint and nothing is challenging when compared to the following the Corvette will be an easy resto, this will give you an idea of how redonkulous I can be...
Here are some pictures of my 67:
Here is a quick list of what has been replaced -
-all new floors
-trunk
-shock towers
-rear panel
-both quarters
-both rear outer wheel houses
-shocks
-all new bushings throughout the car

Yeah, nice Camaro. When I talked to the bro-in-law of the woman selling the 69, I said "parts car - about 2 grand". I called back later but never a reply.
The thing with the Camaro is that it will be worth SO much more than
the vette ... anyday. Not so ridiculous.

Huge score last night!!!!
my dad was on craigslist and happen to find a complete, very clean rear clip from a 1968, it was from a convertible but I only need the lower quarters, rear panel, and area near the deck..
we went last night and bought it, the guy is delivering it Saturday...nice guy as well, he may actually purchase a small block off us for his Corvette....
the clip, like the Corvette will go into storage for now,,,until the Camaro is done

Hey, That 68 clip is also in the CF C3 parts forum.
I thought of you - but haven't seen you on lately.
Are you F-in nuts ?? You HAVE to build that as a convertible.
HAVE TO !!! Convertible tops aren't too cheap, but you can pick up
a hardtop for about $500. No doubt ... has to be a vert, not a coupe.

finishing my dads Camaro, dropping a 350 (conversion) into our boat etc

RIP 68
There isn't much to the conversion, just mating the rear clip and the top.
You're almost done with the camaro, you've got a boat and the vette...sounds as if you like to keep busy, add convertible conversion to the list and you won't be disappointed...unless its a track car.
If its a fun car, then you have all the major parts minus the top at your fingertips....go for it!!!
BTW, how deep is your garage?? you've got two cars in there already, I need one of those!
