As others have said, really enjoying seeing this project develop. And for those of us ready to dive into refurbishing our own, some cool ideas.

I'm also considering the OBX pipes. How is the clearance around the steering box? Since a borgeson box may also be in my plans, I just like to keep my options open.

Cheers.

Taking out old fuel line, had sprayed with a rust penetrating oil a week before, though some dirt was caked on one bolt, in general all bolts were in great shape and came right out so far....I did the ones inside the wheelhouse and rear frame area, next will get under the car, take those ones out.

So tight, could not use a box end or line wrench on the bolts that hold the lines in....I was concerned about stripping the heads, thank god I didnt!

Looking into the passenger side wheelhouse, removing fuel line hold down bolt that is towards the rear panel, you can see how tight it is....would suck to have to get a broken bolt out.

New sending unit in place, just used some spray lube on the o ring to allow it to rotate as needed while putting new sender in.

Cleaned up undercarriage, gave it quick shot of a durable textured black paint, stone gaurd type paint that will dry, simply makes it cleaner to work on.
