Used a factory coil bracket, flipped it the other way to work, still might need to adjust more when I hook up carb linkage but believe I am in the right ballpark....sandblasted and cleared bracket, made up a coil wire etc.

thats an OE coil pack? being used on MSD ignition upgrade, that wont interfere with each other? dont mean to ask a dumb question but thought when you upgrade one you have to do all. Also you are using a mechanical fan, why not upgrade to an electric one?

I want to keep the car somewhat original looking, well do not want it super radical, I was able to get an HEI distributor, the coil and guts are removed, just have two wires coming from the magnetic pick up to fire the MSD. I am messing with the fuel line now, made one up last night, but not happy with it, going to bend up another...from the filter to carb.

got ya, and good luck with the fuel lines.. dont know which is worse, fuel lines or brake lines lol

...and for me, brakes lines are next! replacing all the brakes....haha

thats the one project im least lookin forward to doing, not exactly a brake wizkid and patience is not of my virtues

not totally happy with the line, but not all kinked, should flow good and work well...
