So what are the plans for the car beyond getting it on the road? I look at that car and see a potential masterpiece. Even though I know exactly how much work it is, I'd kill for a 69 project car like that (and then it'd kill me)! I assume given the damage on the fender, etc that you're going to do some body work and paint it. If so, PLEASE keep that original color!! keep us posted, love seeing the car progress.

Not sure you ever saw my Camaro....which was 100 percent taken apart..very nice car, almost done now.....

I will get the Corvette on the road, I have a complete rear clip and probably will end up going nuts on the body and paint....after brakes, interior is next, already have new seats and the rest of the interior is in good original condition, need to get a carpet of course..everything works, even the clock!

Nope, never saw the Camaro, but I'm guessing it was well done given the way you'll use different paint colors to get the effect you're going for on a gas tank... These are the first pics I've seen of the '69 as well. Beautiful car. That car was beautiful the day you received it, even with all of it's years showing through..... It's all about vision and how far out you can see, (and how far your wallet will carry you to some degree). Either way it's a blast, and you can't put a price on that.

Jetted carb and preset secondaries to bleed some air

Secondary jets were 79's, should be 76's but I put 74's in to lean it out a bit

Downsized the powervalve while I was in here too

Those old shocks look pretty clapped out. No question it's gonna run smooth now! Keep plugging away, enjoying even the small updates.

NOT NCRS, but wire wheeled all surface rust, treated with rust treatment finished in a textured stonegaurd on frame, regular semi gloss spray bombs on everything else to make it cleaner to work around.

I went with non stainless lines, so dusted them with flat aluminum as I dont want any surface rust, also got some clear on them.

Rear calipers with cast grey and clear. They are new Vette Brakes calipers that I got with a parts buy, still need to get fronts.

Sandblasted, wire wheeled, flushed out and after I took this pic I dusted clear on to protect them for at least a little while.
