Paint is still wet here, but is semi-gloss...I couldnt get some of the rust staining out of the rubber washer thing, so that got a fog of flat black, looks great now.

This is done in flat, put the paint on heavy and it is wet here...but will be dull / flat when dry

Good God man! Looks like that Jack was sitting at the bottom of the Bearing Sea for a few seasons..... Nice job cleaning it up and for a quick 'spit shine' on this car you're doing a heck of a nice job.

thanks, yeah this car only has 50K on it!!! but was abused and neglected...

the jack was frozen solid, I didnt do body work on the jack or use a super high build primer to smooth out imperfections, just a quick blast and respray to get it presentable..

I left some of the original orange overspray at the edge of the compartment...also going to touch up the top of the jack a little, I had scratched it putting it in, the hastily touched it up and it came out like poo...so going to fix that

I wish I had the same energy as you Im at more or less the same stage, redoing the interior, clusters , consoles new carpet and so on, but it took a lot more time and you are way more in the details than me

Keep things going and post your progress

thanks, but this really just is a driver quality, survivor quality car..the car only has 52,362 on it but was driven hard and put away wet...

this will never be an NCRS type car, but since I have it apart want to clean and paint pieces as needed...
