Harness for the storage compartment light was pretty beat, luckily I have that convertible rear clip which had a nice harness, spliced in with heat shrink connectors, since I took this, I cleaned off the black soot and tucked them away neatly. I just need it functional and clean..not NCRS

Coming along, the door panels look very glossy in the first few pictures but did dry to a fairly correct looking semi finish, they look real nice compared to what they were, but they were not too bad.

Weather strip removal

Re-sprayed all the flat black around lock **** etc, then used brake cleaner on q tip to wipe down the chrome, didn't want to take panel further apart and risk damaging stuff, I am fairly practiced on this method and it works well.

Epoxy repair then body filler followed by textured stone guard to blend it.

Panel while wet

That looks fantastic, well done. Are you using paint or 'dye' for the panels?

I used a common vinyl paint from lowes or HD, it is a rustoleum, something called 2X I believe was the name, I think it looks decent...thanks!

Pics of them in place, again the pics stink and the lighting makes them look glaring, but they do have a very correct looking satin finish, saw a couple vettes at a show yesterday and these really look pretty spot on.....they look good for stuff that was abused and worn out

Got a deal on these, couldn't beat it, all new foam, all new leather

I just used my vinyl headrests for now, but got brand new headrest foam with the seats, so will do over a pair and swap them in
