Bumber????????? Small rant
Did I miss something in the last 58 years?
I keep seeing this and it is making me CRAZY!!....er
The B and the P are not even close to each other on the keyboard.
Some of the alternatives are creative to say the least.
There, I feel all better now!!

The Canadian spelling isn't BUMBER, it's BUMPOUR. Jeeze, give us a little bit of credit here, EH!!

Hey, I wasn't even starting to pick on you frenchies up there.
Most of Canada talks normal.
You know I'm just kidding Steve (and all my other F-C friends).
Actually, I've seen "bumber" in many posts that originate from Ontario.
Maybe these are just the ones I've noticed.

But there is such a thing as a:
Bumbershoot
Bumbershoot is a colloquial word for umbrella, probably coined in the 19th century as a joining of umbrella and parachute.
Bumbershoot is also the name of an annual festival of music, art, and crafts held over the Labor Day weekend in Seattle, Washington's Seattle Center.
