PS pump install
I have gotten the pump and pulley out and have both new ready to install. Has anyone got any tips about how to make the install a little easier? I am short about 1/4" or so of enough room to get the assembly back in the rack it goes in. Is there anything I can loosen or move to give me a little more room short of taking out the radiator and fan? Thanks, Wells

Unbolt the alternator and it's bracket from the cylinder head and that will give you a lot more room.
The PS mount bolts to the front of the block with two bolts. Remove it and install the pump to the bracket on the bench. Then, you just need it slide the stud on the back of the pump into the rear bracket and thread the two bolts through the main bracket into the block. Install the hoses and belt and tighten with the alternator removed. Lots of room to work that way.
