Why? All of us already have a list an arm long.

Make that an arm and a leg for us '68 owners.

TRUE,

Try to keep a vette running on the other side of the ocean. All parts are hard to find here, except if you have a big budget!!

How 'bout that '68-only emergency brake console cover w/the seat belt slots, and the no-map pocket interior panel?

I bought a repro 68 brake console from Mid-America and one from Dr. Rebuild. It turns out both were made by EC Products. My opinion is that the appearance is very poor. The original external surfaces have a leather like texture imprinted. The EC Products repro has a rough scratch like appearance. I'd really like to get an original umblemished or good quality repro. I was so proud that my original lasted 38 years, until last year, I accidentally placed my elboe on it and pushed to get out of the car....crack!!! Wonder if I can cover my EC Products repro with vinyl plastic sheeting and make it look closer to original.

Uh-huh. I hear ya. 16" steering wheel in better shape than the one you have; ditto for interior door panels (but those are being repro'd); three piece, smooth, center cluster; late door grab handles; door panel trim spears if your pair are gone; actual '68 windshield post trim; actual '68 radiator support.

I dropped that little retainer clip into the door panel. That part was really hard to find.
