Default 1978 fuseable links

my car died on me the other day and i traced the power issue down to the fuse block where one of my fuses doesnt have power to it. this also powered my ignition (msd) and thats why it died. my power windows and a couple of gauges that also do not work. someone suggested a fuseable link may have gone bad. i have continuity from the fuse block (where the fuse has no power) to the wires under the hood so i know thats okay. Does anyone know where to look for the fuseable links?

It is in the tech section. This link may get you there.

If you have some power in the car, then it is not likely the fusable links. But who knows if bubba has been here.

If your problem is only the power windows...there is a circuit breaker in the fuse block.....metal can type of thing. Perhaps bubba hooked up your MSD system to the window circuit.. I think you will need an electical diagram to track this down. You can find that either in the PIM or Hayes or ebay. Perhaps someone here has an electonic version that they could send you. Working without a good diagram will be hard.

FWIW: the AIM shows fusible link locations.
