1982 silver blue corvette interior color?
I have a 1982 silver blue corvette. The interior color seems to have a light blue silver color. The carpet seems to be a real light shade of blue. What color is it called? This is an all original car bought from the original owner. Nothing has been changed.

Sounds like Silver Gray, code 13C for cloth or code 132 for leather. Look at your trim tag and see if either of those are listed. (open the drivers door and look at the jamb near the dash)

thanks
I will check the code. IThe reason that I asked was that I bought a slate gray cargo mat and it does not match. The interior on your vette is sweet! I love what you did with the side of your console. Did you do that yourself?

this makes no sense
:o The trim tag reads CO9D 124114 Then underneath....
L31 24L 24U Then.....
Chevrolet
This is in the door jamb , metal tag, up by the window post. The 124114 matches the VIN. Am I reading the right tag?

The 24L and 24U refer to your paint; you are correct in that it is called Silver Blue. The same color as the top half of my car. My trim tag reads 26L and 24U, I've been told that the L and U stand for "upper" and "lower" but have yet to see that in print.
As for the interior, the code you listed throws me (my reference is the Corvette Black Book). The light silver is called Silver Gray and is code 13C for cloth or 132 for leather. The book does not list a L31 or anything that ends in with the number 1.
BTW, your car was late production, # 24,114 out of 25,407. Probably made in Aug or Sept of 1982, again, according to the data listed in the book.
