88 temp outside. Pressure 210 top 29 low. Air out of the vent 62.
The system has 134a in it and had been flushed and dryer replaced. Any ideas? Thanks
My guess being you must of checked your system with a set of guages to find out that the low side is at 29 and the high side at 210 is that you may have a leak and need to add maybe a 12oz can of freon. Usually the low side should be at 40-45 if I remember correctly. High Side could be up to 250. Go and get yourself a thermometer the type with the large round dial that you can set right inside your Center Duct. Turn the a/c on with the car running and try adding another can through a set of gauges if possible. Keep an eye on the gauges and check the Thermometer to see if the ducts get colder. The dial on these A/C thermometers have a shaded area on the dial so that you know if the needle gets into the area you are in pretty good shape. You should notice a difference if I am right. Using R-134a at least you can shut the can down if you feel you put enough freon back into the system.
Usually when a POA valve starts going bad they actually freeze up forming ice on the outside of them. Usually when that happens just shutting the A/C off with the heat of the engine it will free itself and melt away the ice and you can start using your a/c again until it freezes again. At that point you know it needs to be changed out.
