Mine has kinda the same problem It seems i have one or so lights but then when I push on the top of the chrome bezel somemore start to light up but when I releive the pressure they go back out .It does seem like a ground but what is pushing doing .does anybody know what the bulb socket looks like maybe its just rusty???
Did you pull down your dash board? The bottom of the wheel comes loose and the dash has more room to move down after that.
What color is the wire that goes to the gauges? Mine is gray. Mine just fell out one day when I was living in Colorado. I didn't fix it until 6 months later. I would find it.
Well you guys have the printed circiut on the back of the cluster. You would be looking for a black wire that will be your ground. The gray wire is the feed for the lights from the headlamp switch. It maybe the circuit board that is not making contact or it is burnt. Or no feed from the switch. Pressing on the guage and they come on I would guess it is the connector to the circuit board behind the panel to the gauge cluster,
ok...so now the little "brights" symbol in the middle will light up, but still nothing on the guages...the harness seems in good shape, and the connectors on the circuit seem good and clean. I'm so lost. Fuses are good...I checked.
