"Smith sent it off for the work, which was to include having it stroked to 383 cubic inches and fitted with a host of high-performance parts. All that was done, but done poorly. Finding sand in the engine was the warning sign, says Smith. He feels fortunate that he was able to discover this early on, since “it would have blown up” otherwise.

Instead of yelling at the guy who performed the shoddy work, “I bit my tongue and walked away,” says Smith."

Here we go again.

Yes, life can really change things! I'm busy doing things around the house now that i have my own place and a career. It takes up a lot of my time. The garage is almost finished, which was a big project in its own.

I read that too........a shame that it was even mentioned as it takes away from an otherwise great undertaking by a young man.

One can learn a lot about the building of an exquisite vehicle through hard work and the help of others, but learning how to put down the baggage comes with maturity.

Nice car......

Dude, from an Australian owner of a 1976 C3, well bloody done. I've spent the last 3 weeks reading all 3270 posts on this thread, and if I can do 1% of what you've done I'll be very happy. I'm about to start a ground up restoration on mine, and I hope you don't mind if I PM you occasionally with questions.

Well done again mate!

I'm not sure. Once I get around to working on a few things this winter, I will try and get you measurements.

I recall you mentioning previously the shoot and magazine name but I've forgotten. What magazine is your car in? And congrats by the way!!!

Hey Jeremy - kick a$$ car. Your hard work paid off - congrats. Want to pick up and read the mag that your car is featured in. Looks like Corvette Magazine - January 2016 edition. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

Haven't been on here in a few days. It is the January edition of Corvette Magazine. I picked one up here at Chapters (Canada). Most bookstores down south carry this magazine.

We've had a few responses from our customers at the shop seeing it, which was a great feeling. Hard work pays off in the end.

Wishing all of you happy holidays, and best of health. I'll keep you posted on our next show, which will be down south of the border sometime in early 2016.

Jeremy
