I purchased a new flex fit cover from Ecklers for my 77 and it came with no holes in it for the emblem. I am going to purchase a new emblem and does it come the way the factory emblem was with the tabs to go thru the holes or have they mdified the new emblems to only self adhere on the cover to where I dont need to put holes in my new cover

My 78 'corvette' emblem has the studs on it, I got it off ebay.
