Default Custom C3 Seats

I'm comtemplating what I want to do with my interior. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to change the interior color from Firethorn to Torch Red to better match the exterior. I was looking at the seats and thinking how much I don't really like them. I was considering some custom aftermarket seats. Has anyone done this, what seats did you choose, and how difficult were they to install? I was thinking of ordering some Sparco seats, but need to know what I'm getting myself into before I purchase them.

I put a set of '01 Toyota Celica GT black sport cloth seats in my C3. I love the way they feel...very sporty and supportive. They were a bit tricky to install...a few custom touches...but overall I am VERY happy with them.

I have this seat in my '77, holds you perfectly on sharp bends, fits perfectly, looks the business, it's expensive but won't drain your wallet and save half the weight with alu supports...

It comes in blue, red or black.

The Fiero seats look good, was there any fabrication necessary to make them fit?

I used the tracks from the original vette seats. The Fiero seat bolt pattern (where the tracks attach to the seat) is approx 2 inches narrower from side to side, so I made brackets to widen the Fieros footprint so the tracks fit into the mounting holes in the floor.

Just some minor modification of the corvette track to bolt the Fiero seats on it.

Did you weld those brackets or are there just bolts being used? I can see benifits either way.

Was there much danger of warping the track?
