I'm comtemplating what I want to do with my interior. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to change the interior color from Firethorn to Torch Red to better match the exterior. I was looking at the seats and thinking how much I don't really like them. I was considering some custom aftermarket seats. Has anyone done this, what seats did you choose, and how difficult were they to install? I was thinking of ordering some Sparco seats, but need to know what I'm getting myself into before I purchase them.
I put a set of '01 Toyota Celica GT black sport cloth seats in my C3. I love the way they feel...very sporty and supportive. They were a bit tricky to install...a few custom touches...but overall I am VERY happy with them.
I have to go to the upholstery shopMon.,and will snapsome pics. It's the place local, and they are AWESOME!Expensive, but you get what you pay for,and they are the best anywhere around here, and have contracts w/several companies, and do all the NHRA engine blankets.Good ol'boys!
I have this seat in my '77, holds you perfectly on sharp bends, fits perfectly, looks the business, it's expensive but won't drain your wallet and save half the weight with alu supports...
At least make up a good story about the spot,, " I was drinking a milk shake,, and this 2009 350zzz" wanted to race,, ect....

Just did this same conversion. They look teriffic in my C3. I also learned that upholstery guys are strong dudes.....getting that leather tight is work!
I used the tracks from the original vette seats. The Fiero seat bolt pattern (where the tracks attach to the seat) is approx 2 inches narrower from side to side, so I made brackets to widen the Fieros footprint so the tracks fit into the mounting holes in the floor.
