OK I wont argue with you because I dont believe anything ubtil I actually see it.When this thread started I would have bet that all L82s had dual snorkels and all L48s had singles but then I looked in the black book and found whats in the pic below.I've had 75s and 76s in with dual snorkels.....Is that an air cleaner from a big block? i'm not sure now.

What about the 73' with the 350ci 190 hp, mine came with the dual snorkel

I have an 1974 L82 Vert with the dual snorkel and open top CAI air cleaner. My AIM also shows the same on Page 6M Sheet 5.

My '77 is a matching number car. And I have a single snorkel on my L-82.... Darebern, take a look at my profile picture. Our cars are sporting the same color, Corvette Tan. They must be brothers from different mothers...

78, first year dual snorkel, L-82 only. 79 all cars. 80, 81 as well but the 80-81 used a different scoop on the radiator vs 78-79 dual snorkel cars.

75 L-82 dual snorkel, open top for cowl induction hood.

Snorkels are not hosed to go over the radiator, as in later years.
