Utility cart Steel vs Composite
Which one??? Now that my lift is up and running I find I have no place for the tools to lay while at the back or side of the car. Need a small cart to place tools, bolts and whatever else. I like the idea of the composite due to no sharp edges and no rusting. Also the grease should wipe right off. What do you guys use?

i have two metal ones....one with a drawer in it.....i like my metal ones....as for rusting one is about 18 yrs old and spent the first 5 yrs under a porch wih tools on it. i dont think rusting is an issue.....
i have been happy with my metal ones and have no reason to consider a composite one.

The only downside to a composite is if you set something hot on it. But the ability to set anything else on it & have easy clean up over shadows that one downside.

We use a ton of those composite carts in our pawn shops(From Grainger). They load them down and push them in/out the stores. Haven't seen any issues with wheels or durability. To many down sides to metal. Sharp edges, they are always bent in the middle of the pan, and the wheel come off easy.
