Check out Hemming's motor news. There is a guy there that sells Ma. plates from most years. There are also vendors on line.

Yes you can but the RMV must view the plates and make sure they are legible and of proper size. They must give it their approval. Most of the vendors that sell Mass plates are familiar with the rules.

Looking at Hemings quickly (at work) can't find out who's selling them? Know of any direct links to vendors that I can use?

I think these would be quite cool to have on my '74..

In the October issue it's on page 653 under "Automobilia". License plates "Mass only, for year of manufacture. All numbers guaranteed clear, checked at RMV, some low numbers. Marshall Chervin 508-845-1166 Shrewsbury, Ma."

Don't know him or his reputation. Just remembered his ad.

Just talked to Marshall, nice guy, has plates ranging from 75-750 depending on how low of numbers...might get one, nice benefit to having them is only rear plate is needed even though red letters for '74's...
