I think that this car was very well bought. I saw this car in the mid '80's when it was apart for restoration. Tim Thorpe in O'Fallon, IL did the restoration. Car needs some freshening up and a few items changed to bring it up to the judging standards of today. The owner bought it sometime in the early '80's for a song. Sorta like me, I bought my L/88 for $6k in 1983 and almost got laughed out of town for paying that kind of money. I would venture to guess that he had less than $35k in the restoration.

The car has sat in BJ's retail showroom for 3? years.
