Welcome back. Love that color. i waited along time for mine and i
bought it to drive, not look at it. We have long cold winters up here in the mountains of n.y. but if the roads are clear of salt and snow out i go. the heater works excellent. regards Johnny r

I love Your attitude! I have had both garage queens and drivers... I say drive it hard and enjoy it (which is what you seem like you will do). I am green with envy, mine doesnt look that nice, but its driven.

I enjoy driving the cars the way they were intended. Mine won't look as pristine as it does now after spending a little time on the road but it will still look good. I'm looking forward to it.

ive been to mershons a couple times, to look around. they ask and get top dollar for just about everything. next time anyone goes...stand outside and look up thru the front windows, you get a real nice view of all the unfinished bodywork and lack of paint where the bodyman was too lazy to bend over and finish his work and spray paint. when people ask the kind of money they ask for stuff, you should'nt see **** like that

Take a note from someone who has been there. He had a C6 and gave it up for the 70. I have to say I would take the 70 over the C6 any day of the week. I think the hype is going to die over the C6 as they get older with all of the expensive electronics to go bad as they get older but that 70 is going nowhere but up.

Congratulations on purchasing such a beautiful car! And for buying one that's already done so you can start enjoying it right away. Smart.

For me, I've found that I'm better off buying the best car I can afford. I have a tendency to keep them for a couple years and then try something else.
With that criteria, its works out better if I don't have to put a lot of money into the car and I start with one that others will want when I go to sell it.
The car wasn't cheap but it was a quality restoration. I'm no expert, but it stood out in all respects (to me, anyway) against a dozen other cars I had looked at. Plus, I'll be able to get it on the road as soon as the weather permits. I'm looking forward to that.

I thought this was a forum where we all share info on our cars. I am shopping for a 70-73 in a No.2 and I would like to know what money forum members are paying for their rides. I am hear to educate myself and share my experince with other members. I woulld still like to know what he paid for his nice Vette. So how much

...I believe, IMHO, that there is nothing like the look of a '68-'72 bumper shark roadster or coupe. One of the toughest, most beautiful cars ever built. I love my '74 & '75 for what they are and what I do with them, but nothing makes me do a double take more than '68-'72s.
