Default Vettes are Dangerous - Even in Storage

I stopped by the storage garage yesterday for the monthly visit to check the car and pump the brakes. The driveway appeared clear, but as I walked to the back of my DD I stepped on some ice and went down. Nothing appears to be broken, but I'm pretty sore this morning. More importantly, the vette was just fine. Garage floor dry. No sign of rodents.

I'm more than ready for winter to be over. Glad you're not seriously hurt, and glad the vette is ok.

TOTALLY AGREE I'm ready for some warm weather - but the main thing is you're OK.

Was recently in the same situation C3 RV. Found myself asking, "What's this on my face?" It was the floor.

Darn gravity, especially when there's ice around.

Good to hear you're OK. There's no worse feeling when your falling and your feet are higher than your head and neither one are on the ground. I too have had enough winter.

The Secretary of Defense fell on the ice on his front steps and broke his arm. He would have felt better about it if he had been checking on a Corvette.

Glad y'all are okay! We've had some weird weather this winter - some days have been really cold and we even had snow a couple of times! No ice, thank goodness. Others (like the past few weekends) have been very nice, up in the 60s, and we've been able to do some work on the Vette. Just never know . . .

I would have felt better about it if he had been on his way to Osama Bin Laden's funeral.

I was outside today and the words "Wow, it's really warm out today" came out of my mouth.

It was 45*

I can't tell you how badly I'm ready for winter to be over. The car's getting prepped for paint, sidepipes are in, and I'm ordering the wheels shortly. I can't take this snow crap anymore!

I am sorry you got hurt! In Va we have been blessed with great weather and my baby drives every week. I can't imagine not saying "hello" to her every am when I go let my dogs out...she makes me smile every morning, how could something perfect, black, shiny and just-beckoning-me-for-a-ride not make me smile ....

This is what I see evey am..and , no my daughter does not live in the car, but she wants too..I figure you can never be to young to find a love for fine cars...she loves Vettes and she is 3!!

You need to move south. It was 68 with blue skies today. It's going to get into the mid 70's all week.

Crap - I'd be happy with only 15" of snow on the ground. We just went through some 50 below weather and then got dumped on by 15" of snow ! The snow on the lawn is WAY higher than the top of a car!
They're calling for a high of -27 tomorrow ! Spring is here !!!
