Got it...Thanks! Would you happen to have any tips on where to tap in to add prosport gauges? I'm adding a vacuum/boost, fuel pressure, and Air/Fuel ratio gauges. I need a good point to tap into that is hot in ACC.

am sending you a pic of a 79 fuse box...all years should have whats called receptacle posts...it is just a single post...you can check for it with a test light if you cannot read the writing on the fuse box or do not have the owners manual which would have a diagram of the fuse box...one is for ACC which would give you power for what you need...I do not believe into taping into other wires...much cleaner going straight to the fuse box

Thats is a good practice. What about tapping into the lights? I need to hook one wire to them so it changes display at night. Is there a direct spot for that or will it take tapping a wire?

attached is a pic of a 76 fuse box I found on the web...you see the fuse box on its side...there are 3 single spade receptacles in the middle of the box...the middle one is for ACC...if you imagine the fuse box standing up correctly, the 3 long fuses would be on the left...just below them is a spade receptacle marked LPS, and that I am guessing is what you are looking for

Just so I don't get this wrong...the ACC single spade spot would be my power connection and the LPS is for the lights tap?

papawana,
Sorry, but I don't see a pic in your post. Did you forget to attach or am I missing something?
