Default Sway Bars Dia Question

I have a .875 Dia Front Sway Bar and .75 in the Rear of my 78. What type have handling does this setup present? I'll soon be re-doing the shocks, springs and sway bar bushings with original equipment. Thanks for any insight.

Probably "loose", as that rear bar is huge relative to your front. How stiff you going on springs?

FYI, depending on where you go with everything else, a rear bar of any size could be unnecessary.

two spring rates- the 550 is usually recommended for cars with ac, but i'll probably do the 460. ac delco gas shocks all around, and a new 9 leaf spring in the back. and rubber sway bar bushings. how's this sound for a non-museum quality fun car?

If you're looking for fun and don't care about "correctness" I'd suggest getting rid of all the rubber compliance in the front suspension and giving the 550's a go. ...also, stepping up to an appropriately valved set of Bilstein's or Koni's (a premium quality set of shocks is one of the best things you'll ever do for your C3). Lots of other improvements could be on the menu, such as lowering, depending on how far you want to go. IMHO, rear bar should be about the last consideration.
