If I cut out one coil on from of 82 spring, how much drop in height?

That's hard to say. I cut one full coil from the front springs on my '77 and I got about a 1.25" drop. I also replaced all the front suspension joints and bushings, as well as shocks.

Your results will vary based on condition of your current springs, and the weight of your car.
