Rear spring bolt/bushing kit?
I "borrowed" this pic from a forum members post since I'm not sure what it is called. My bushings have seen better days (the early 80's). Car rides nice now, just thought it could only make it ride nicer.
How long of a job would it be to have a mechanic replace those? Could I do it in my garage? Or is it one of those "if your gonna do that, you should just do..." jobs. Then again every job seems to be that way.

Assuming you can get the nuts off without issues, replacing the bushings should only take you about thirty minutes including jacking time. Just note that you will want to put jack stands under the frame to take the pressure off of the spring, and use a jack to raise and lower the arm to get the nut and bushing on and off.
