Well this weekend we did a marathon run to paint the car.

Saturday, after a lot of prep and masking we painted the red
Sunday, we masked off the red for the paint scheme that was a long process
AND THIS MORNING I GOT TO SEE MY PAINT JOB FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!!
NOW WE WETSAND BUFF, AND ASSEMBLE. I am very tired from all this but it is coming together now!!!!!!
STAY TUNED FOR THE FINISHED PRODUCT

Wow...that looks about 10x better than I was thinking it would! Great job, and good luck not sanding through the paint when wetsanding! Either way, the colors look really like that lost owens corning car that was never built Good job, and I'd love to see the looks you get from just the paint, much less the BB hehehehe

Thank you. That's what I was always saying, that this car would look like the CORNING CAR THEY NEVER BUILT

And it definetly does....if I'm ever in MA, I will be definetly coming to see it, no matter how far I have to drive....what a beaut! I love how the the white doesn't go all the way to the edges on the side. It looks really cool with that inch of red showing through to give it an outline.

Absolutely gorgeous!!
I know you feel like you've been working on this forever but I can't believe how fast you are considering the quality level you insist on. Your work is simply amazing!
There has been quite a few builds I've seen both here on CF as well as some other sites that I thought were works of art, but if I was going to have my car redone I would without a doubt be calling you.

Great layout and paint
This brings me to a question I have always wanted to ask:
When you did the layout for the white over the red; did the red have to be sprayed in the area that was going to be white or could that layout be masked in and the white be sprayed directly over the primer?
Kind of like an inlay or would that cause problems were the red and white edged touch?
