Not that bad if you're willing to put the time and money into it and you've checked for rust like everyone stated.
Expect to change these things immediately:
1. Both Trailing arms & assemblies, I'd expect the parking break to get stuck during your initial test drive(?) so don't touch it.
2. brake lines from the rubbers to and including the calipers and pads.
3. Tires & alignment
4. New seals and lube the rear
5. Exhaust system
6. Oil pan gasket
7. Valve cover gaskets
8. tune up(that's obvious)
Now you can get to everything else rubber and mechanical. Deal with the non essential stuff when you refill your bank account. Expect to spend somewhere around $3-5K.
I can't recall you stating weather you had a garage or not. If not, I wouldn't consider buying this Vette.
Good luck.

Melting Slicks
Looks like a good purchase Arnold! I personally don't belong to the local club. I've had my car for 25 yrs now. I'm in the middle of a body off restoration. You are welcome to come over....there are many things I can show you. I'm in Oakbank.
