Default Best Seat Cover Vendor

Just a feeler for the best vendor for seat covers. I'm buying within the next 3 weeks for my '72. Zip, Corvette Central, Corvette America, Ecklers, Paragon. Too many vendors. Obviously, best quality, originality and realistic prices are important.

I'd look at Al Knoch. Wilcox has Corvette America make their covers, I wasen't too happy with the quality of my leathers I just got from them.

Al Knoch wins on quality and Wilcox wins on price. Pick which is most important to you.

My seats and T-tops were stolen when I first got my vette and I got complete replacements seats from Al Knoch and they stayed perfect for years afterwards. Still looked brand new when I sold the car. but they were leather, and I'm not sure about any other seat cover material covers. Good luck .

Al Knoch
I used Corvette America once and I did not like the fit of their door panels so I started using Al Knoch and have never had a problem. I have always purchased their interiors when I am at the Pamona swap meet and have received great pricing. Check with Al Knoch to see if they will be at any shows in your area

I asked this same question 2 years ago.
The majority responded Al Knoch. I went with them due to the reputation of their quality.
I'm sure they're not the cheapest, but I will tell you they look superb.
I've since added their doorpanels as well. Very nice.

Al Knoch all the way!!! I'm in Ontario, Canada and their quality, delivery, and price were the best for me. Had them make custom two tone dk blue and buckskin for my '77 in the same year colours, they applied the pins and clips on the covers which made the installation of their new foam a breeze. Good luck with what ever your choice

Willcox hands down for me! I installed the seats on new foam with no problems to be found!

I put a set of covers on a car years ago and the foam was hard feeling. I think the new foam is perfect and the covers turned out great! Boy my hands sure hurt! No quality issues with the covers at all and not a kings ransom for them either.

All the interior parts i got came from wilcox but was made by Corvette America. The carpet was auto custom carpeting. It was almost 30 percent cheaper from wilcox.

As fate would have it, my Dad found some original vinyl (comfortweave)covers his upholstery friend had. A guy brought him a '72 w/ 30K on it and wanted a whole new interior. $100 and even through in the original seat buns even though I have new complete Knock's.

Question: Do I need the installation kit w/ all the wires? I have plenty of hog rings and hog ring tool. Maybe re-use those already inside?

I like Corvette America seat covers and door panels because they fit better and I have used AK. The seat covers are a little bigger and the door panels fit much better.
