Default Another carpet question

Back a few weeks ago, someone posted pics of carpet installation with reflectix insulation under it. Did you cement the reflectix to the floor? And how did you attach the carpet to the reflectix?
Working on my 72 now.
Thanks,
pb

Most people like 3M brand adhesive sprays, either 77 or 90. Using 90 is a bit harder since it's very thick and gets everywhere. It's the strongest though.

I taped my reflectix to the floor with aluminum tape on the edges, then just layed the carpet down. It holds itself in place with the trim items in the car.

There isnt really a need for any kind of spray adhesive...

3M to glue Reflectix to floor, then just layed carpet on top, except on the wheel wells in the storage area where I tacked down the vertical surfaces (79 bubble back)

3M spray adhesive for the Reflectix (not a lot, just enough to hod it in place), tape all joints with foil tape [not duct tape], and glue only the vertical carpet sections.
