...well this was a anti climatic thread Been planning out my 75 and would love to install flares. It looked as if these were a bit nicer than others I have seen. If anyone finds another source for good looking flares please post.

Hi, I am still working on this on and off. I will contact ACI again and get the ball rolling...

Over time, I have also spoken to others about making these flares, and the biggest factor that always comes up is cost.I would like to make the flares as affordable as possible.
I am trying to check out all avenues on this in between everything else I have to do here in the shop. It hasnt been easy.

Thanks again for all your patience on this. I am trying to make it happen....

Thanks for the update Stan!

My car won't be ready for the flairs for a few years anyway. After seeing your flairs, all the others available don't look all that appealing.

If things fall through and you are unable to find someone to make your flairs, and you have a few days where you aren't using your flair molds, is there any chance I could stop in and use your molds ?

Thanks again for the update!

I'll be in line when they are available, as I would love a set.

I took pictures of our molds yesterday, and will be e-mailing them to ACI over the weekend. As long as these molds work with their process, I will push forward to seal some kind of a deal with them and get the ball rolling.

If Stan isn't making them any more you can get them from Custom Image.
Josh at has put them into production
along with new bumpers and he's adding more parts as time goes on.
Josh is also a forum member, under the name Superpowers.

Hope this helps.

Riggs.

Default Any flare news?

Is there any new information on your flares?

Did the ACI connection over get made? Are they still interested in making them? I just checked the ACI website, and they only have their ZL-1/L88 flares shown.

I hope there's good news!

I am itching (pun) for a project this summer. I'd like these flares, but if not I may try to build my own flares. There's a pretty good link on this site for that.

Anyone? Anyone?

Has anything happened with the production of these flares?
I would like a set to go with my new L88 Hood.

Here are the flares Jeff Leech from Mid America Ind is producing. This is my build, the flares on my car are from a mold from one of the Owen Corning cars. Jeff put them on my car and he now has the molds and is selling them. I hope to finally pick my car up this month and get it finished.

I am wanting to finally finish my car and I have a set of the rears from Stan and still need front flares. Does anyone have a set of fronts they would sell or any tips on how I might get a set. I tried to send Stan an instant message but his account is not accepting them.
