Notice the arch and the clearance between the tire and actual fender.
Sorry if some pics are too big.
The bottom car has tires that a just a little to small.

The bottom one is mine, the rears will be upgraded to 18x12 with much bigger tires and maybe I'll mount the rears in the front. It's also too high in the rear and too low in the front, tight now it's like the pic below
That's the way the L88 flares should go on, apparently if you say someone has them on too low you get flamed

Personally, I think all rubber bumper cars need flares to make them look good. They look out of proportion without flares. Chrome bumpers look good no matter what you do to them

I like them the best when they splice the xtra piece
right at the body line
