Default Looking for pics of '72 headlights

One of our corvette club member has asked me to look into modifying his headlights for projector modules he bought

Before i go tearing into his car, If anyone here has some pictures of the headlights of the 72 style (taken apart would be even better) I'd lke to get a vague idea of what i'm working with. My expereince with C3's is limited.

thanks in advance.

It's not a great pic, but here is one from my 71.

If this is close enough, let me know and I can take some more detailed pics later.

if you could take a shot from above, that would be awesome. I'm trying to see where the headlamps are actually mounted, mounting plate?

I'm confused. Open the headlights on your friend's car, remove the bezels, and have a look see.

Hi Avner,

Did you clean up the assemblies yourself? I was wondering about the springs. Are those replacements? or did you paint them? I still need to rebuild mine and I was just curious about if they can be painted?

Thanks,
KO

Hi Ken
How the restoration going? I hop to end my restoration next year.
Yes I clean the assemblies my self and paint them with gloss black. The springs are after market that I bought from corvette central. I used the old hinges but galvanized them.
The car is going to be black with clear coat.
