Funny I built five of them and Paul posted the pic , the purple one is mine and was clocked by the OPP at 31 mph, the green one in the back ground is my sons , his fuel tank is from SLEEMAN's beer!! The last one I built came with a small trailer made to fit a 24 beer !!!!
Yes Ron, that pic is from about five years ago. I haven't seen the bar stool with a trailer!
The one with the trailer is just outside Montreal the guy is retired and moved there,it was a beauty ,I painted it the same colour as his 55 chevy, Baby blue! The red bar stool I built has roller blade wheels in the back on a wheely bar ,we geared that one to do wheelees!!!
Yes sir, seen it cool but wow V-8 I have a vette motor in my garage and I thought about it , but what a waste , the kit looked well thought out ,if I could only win the lottery! Ron

Ok, this looks like a great time killer. Do any of you guys that have built them have plans and/or parts lists?? Or are they built from your head?
The kiddo and I would like to do one of these bad.....
I built mine from some rough measurements on a piece of paper. The barstool dictates the frame measurements and the rest you just jig it in place. Beer will something effect the final product also.
Go on Craigslist and buy a used edger with a 5/8" side shaft. $25 to $50 will get you a nice one. Everything else you can get at Northern tool or one of the barstool racer sites. I think most will sell you the welded frame for $135 shipped.
Warning these are dangerous. Only use your dumbest kid to test pilot.
I want to build one of those when it's time to get a new mower. Of course, my current mower is electric, so I'm going to need a long cord. Al Gore would be so proud.

Funny you talk about a mower.
Several years back the Briggs threw a rod, so I borrowed the engine from my BIL's CB350 Honda.
To save a few bucks I used snomobile parts, the brakes are disc and they stop a 400lbs sled, I also use the kill switch and throttle handles, the handle bars come from an old mountain bike , I did build two with steering wheels off a lawn tractor but they were hard to drive untill you got used to it!
